Folkfest
Ok, here is my Folkfest report.
First of all: I was working very hard. Almost every night until.... I am not going to write it down! :-)
And finally the big day arrived. I was not nervous - this is very unusual for me. But it is true.
We arrived there at 11 a.m. I had one hour time to arrange my stall.
In my imagination the hall would have been crowded with people... but - of course - it wasn´t. From time to time some people came round and had a look at my Buttontails. And some told me how great my stuff was. One woman was very delighted with my Necklaces and she finally bought one. After that her mum (an older lady) came and she also was fascinated.
I was also very delighted to see some friends coming. I met Orla - she used to work together with Hendrik - I hadn´t seen her for ages. And my good old friend Gesa came along although she and her family had to go to Dublin afterwards. She bought some souvenirs.
It is also very difficult to treat the customers in the right way. If you only say *Hello* to them they feel watched and they get nervous. The best was just leave them - or more ignore them - and if they had any question smile at them and be *nice and friendly* hihi
In the end it was not to bad. I have had a good start. I really want to get involved in craft fairs. I think it is also a good way for me to do some work even with Marlin.

Thats my business started
Today was the big day. I took my collection to musical tots again - and it was great. Almost everybody wanted to have a look at my Buttontails. And in the end I sold some and earned £18. Thats exactely the way I wanted to see my business growing.
In the beginning of May there will be a *Folkfest* in Portrush. Unfortunately all stalls are fully bookt. But I called the orgerniser today and she said she will do her very best to squeese me in.

Great I got all my stuff today!
Here a look at my 12kg Buttons
Im waited a very long time. But today was the big day. I got three parcels at once.
12 kg buttons, plenty of beads and clips to make dummy holders. I am so excited. I can start my buisness now! And luckily granny and grandad came today. So I will have plenty of time to get started.

My first customer
I think selling things is not a easy yob. Yesterday I went to *Musical Tots*. In the end nobody wanted my Buttontails. I need to learn that not everybody is as strange as me and likes them. I like them and that is the main part. Of course I will not make big money with my new business, but I want to make people smile. When they buy one and they are happy with it - that's great.
Last night there was a *baby fair* in Coleraine. All three of us were tired but we still decided to go and have some fun. We even met a friend, Megan from Belfast, there. She showed great interest in my Buttontails and finally bought one. For £5! Great. I was thinking of selling them for £3.50. And another woman was interested in my necklaces. I left her my email address. Hope she'll write back.
This is the one I sold.
